College Hockey America Weekend Preview

   Wayne State at Niagara- 2 Games (Fri., Sat.)


  • After sweeping a weekend seires last month in Detroit, Niagara leads the all-time series, 20-18-1 over Wayne State.
  • Wayne State is looking to snap a seven-game winless streak (0-5-2)
  • Wayne State has outscored Niagara, 42-30, over the last four seasons.
  • Senior goaltender Jenni Bauer, an All-CHA First Team selection last year, has started 24 of Niagara’s 28 games, and has a 9-12-3 record with a 2.41 goals-against average and a .917 save percentage.

   Syracuse at Robert Morris- 2 Games (Fri., Sat.,) 

  • Syracuse is led by sophomore forward Isabel Menard’s 15 goals and 19 assists. 
  • The Orange is now 11-15-4 overall and 5-6-1 in CHA play.
  • Robert Morris’s freshman forward Thea Imbrogno is tied for second on the team with nine goals and 14 assists for 23 points.
  • The Colonials are led by senior forward Sara O’Malley who has a team-best 25 points on 12 goals and 13 assists.
