The second weekend of November has arrived for College Hockey America with three-conference games and three non-conference games. Robert Morris travels to Happy Valley to take on Penn State twice and RIT will host Syracuse for a single game on Saturday. Lindenwood is at St. Cloud State for a two-game set, while RIT travels to play Colgate on Friday night in non-conference action. The fourth ranked Lakers have the weekend off.
Lindewood (0-8-0) travels up to play St. Cloud State (2-6-0). The Lady Lions are facing Huskies for the first time. Lindenwood is 0-4-0 on the road this season and 0-6-0 against WCHA teams. Sophomore Alison Wickenheiser leads the Lions with three points on a goal and two assists. Freshman goalie Nicole Hensley leads the CHA in saves with 299.
Penn State (4-5-1) welcomes Robert Morris (3-2-1) to Greenberg Pavilion for a two-game series. Both teams are coming off of weekend sweeps and are looking for valuable conference points. This will be the first ever meeting between the two teams. Freshman Shannon Yoxheimer (9-4-13) and junior Taylor Gross (3-9-12) continue to lead Penn State offense. Junior goalie Nicole Paniccia record is 4-3-1 and she has a 2.33 goals against average with a .936 save percentage in eight starts.
The Colonials offense are led by junior Kristen Richards (4-3-7), followed by senior Kelsey Thomas (5-1-6) and sophomore Rebecca Vint (2-4-6). In net Kristen DiCiocco record is 3-2-1, while maintaining a .910 save percentage and 2.54 goals against average. Robert Morris will be playing their first conference series of the season.
RIT (4-3-1) is back in action after a two week break. Friday they play at Colgate (2-7-1) and Saturday they host Syracuse (5-5-0). RIT is 13-1-2 against Colgate, with the last meeting between the two teams coming in the 2000-01 season. RIT and Syracuse have never met before. It will be the first of four meetings between the two schools. The Tigers are led by seniors Tenecia Hiller (4-2-6) and Ariane Yokoyama (1-5-6) and freshman Carly Payerl (2-4-6). Sophomore goalie Ali Binnington has been strong with a 3-1-0 record, .899 save percentage and 2.27 goals against average.
Syracuse plays just the single game against RIT. The Orange are led by freshman Laurie Kingsbury (5-4-9) and sophomore Nicole Ferrara (3-6-9). Junior goalie Kallie Billadeau is eighth in the country with a 1.38 goals against average and eleventh with a .940 save percentage. She has an overall record of 4-2-0 with three shutouts.
