Rebecca Vint - Robert Morris

January was an historic month for Vint and the Colonials. The junior forward recorded 15 points (11G, 4A) in seven games. The team opened the new year with a sweep of St. Lawrence, led offensively by Vint. During the series she moved into third-place in the Colonials record books for career points. The next weekend, Vint registered her 100th career point in a 5-1 rout of nationally-ranked Quinnipiac. She scored a short-handed, game-winning goal in a 3-1 victory over Mercyhurst that set a new program record for wins in a season (20), and proved to be pivotal in the CHA standings. Vint closed out the month by recording back-to-back hat tricks against Mercyhurst and Lindenwood. In the three-goal game at Mercyhurst she set a new school record for career goals, breaking the previous record of 54. During the hat trick at Lindenwood she tallied twice in 41 seconds, and moved to within two goals of tying her own program-record for single-season goals (22). She now has 34 points this season (20G, 14A), and 111 points (58G, 53A) in 90 career games. This is her second Player of the Month award of the season.

Jessica Dodds – Robert Morris
Freshman; London, Ontario
Dodds continued to be a force in net during January, posting a 5-1-1 record with a 1.56 GAA, .947 save percentage and one shutout. Dodds and the Colonials held opponents two one goal or less in five of the seven games, including just two goals in two games against nationally-ranked Quinnipiac, and one goal in a win over Mercyhurst, the fifth-highest scoring offense in the nation. Dodds and the Colonials went 2-1-1 against nationally-ranked opponents in the month. She ranks in the top-ten nationally in goals-against average (8th), save percentage (8th), win percentage (3rd), and shutouts (T-7th). This is her third CHA monthly award of the season.

Jessica Sibley - Syracuse
Forward; Luseland, Saskatchewan
Sibley recorded seven points (2G, 5A) in eight games during the month of January, helping the Orange to a 6-2 record during the calendar month. Both goals came during the first three-point game of her career, an important 5-4 win overtime win against RIT. The seven points are the most in one month for Sibley this season, and bring her point total to 19(9G, 10A) in 27 games. She has the second-most goals, and third-most points on the team, and ranks tenth in the nation in rookie scoring.
