College Hockey America Player of the Month

Rebecca Vint – Robert Morris

Junior, Forward; Caldeon, Ontario

Vint scored 10 points in nine games in November, five goals and five assists. She provided timely scoring for the nationally-ranked Colonials, with two third period game-winning goals and an assist on another game-winner to propel Robert Morris to a 7-1-1 record in November, as well as first place in College Hockey America and the program's first ever national ranking. She was also a +5 and blocked 16 shots. She tallied a season-high three assists last Friday against Maine, giving her 47 career assists and moving her into sole possession of third place in program history for assists. The junior has 17 points (9G, 8A) so far this season and is just six points shy of 100 for her career. Vint, a top offensive player since she entered the league in 2011-12, was named CHA Player of Month twice last season, in November and December, and is a former CHA Rookie of the Year.

College Hockey America Goaltender of the Month

Jessica Dodds – Robert Morris

Freshman; London, Ontario

Dodds continued her standout play in November, recording the best record amongst CHA goaltenders at 6-0-1 to remain unbeaten in her collegiate career. She posted a 1.27 GAA and a .940 save percentage, both league-bests amongst goalies playing over 50% of their team's minutes, and one shutout during the month. Dodds is 11-0-1 on the season, giving her the best winning percentage and third-most wins in the nation. Her overall GAA of 1.48, save percetange of .931 and three shutouts all rank in the top-10 nationally. Dodds steadying presence in net has been a large part of the early season success for the Colonials, who have been ranked tenth in the nation for the past two weeks, the first time in program history that they have earned a spot in the polls. This is her second-straight monthly award after being named CHA Rookie of the Month in October.

College Hockey America Rookie of the Month

Brittany Howard – Robert Morris

Forward; St. Thomas, Ontario

Howard tallied 11 points, six goals and five assists, in eight games played during November. She capped off the month with a four goal performance against Maine last Friday, making her the first player in the CHA to score more than twice in a game this season. She was a +7 for the month, and is a +10 on the season. The rookie leads all CHA players in points with 25 and goals (10), and is second in assists (15) and power play points (1-6-7). Howard and also leads all rookies in the nation in points, goals and assists. Her four game-winning goals are also a Division-I high. Howard has earned four CHA weekly awards, and was named the CHA Player of the Month for October.
