Lindenwood women's hockey player Nicole Hensley has been selected to take part in the seventh annual Warren Strelow National Team Goaltending Camp which opens on Thursday, May 8, in Ann Arbor, Mich.
This is the second consecutive year Hensley has been chosen to participate in the camp.
The camp features the top goaltenders eligible for international play in select age groups and is named after the former NHL and 1980 USA Olympic Hockey Team goaltender coach.
The elite four-day camp will cover both physical and mental aspects of goaltending, helping each player master the fundamentals of the position while developing a personal identity that translates to in-game success.
The camp will be led by Kevin Reiter, Warren Strelow mentor and U.S. National Team goaltending coach, and regional mentors Adam Berkohoel, Justin Goldman and Jared Waimon.
Hensley led the conference in saves with 1198 while having a
.921 save percentage and 3.31 goals against average.
